AKB doesn’t sell bathrooms. We are independent, professional bathroom installers, not tied to any particular bathroom manufacturer. So you can buy your bathroom suite and accessories from the supplier of your choice.

But if you do need help selecting your new bathroom, we will be more than happy to put our detailed knowledge and years of experience at your disposal. We can advise you on baths and basins, showers, bidets, taps, toilets and all other bathroom fittings, as well as on bathroom tiles and paints. You can then take advantage of any local offers or trade outlet prices.

What matters to us is that our fully trained bathroom fitters will install your chosen bathroom carefully and expertly, so that it looks – and works – the best that it possibly can.

With AKB installing your bathroom, you’ll avoid the hassle of bringing in different tradespeople for different installation tasks – and the stress of wondering whether they will all turn up in time to do their bit. Our specialist craftsmen, all highly trained in their field, will take care of every aspect of fitting your new bathroom.

• Preparatory work: Any changes required for your new bathroom design, such as blocking up windows; removing non-supporting walls; fitting plywood flooring; building stud walls; installing fitted units.
• Plastering: Any plastering work required before the installation of your new bathroom – for example, artexing of ceilings or removing existing artexing; fitting plasterboard to walls and ceilings; skimming existing plaster; fixing or repairing covings; applying latex screed.
• Tiling: Removing old bathroom tiles and wallpaper, and fitting whatever tiles – ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, limestone, marble, granite, mosaic or slate – you have chosen for your bathroom walls and floor.
• Plumbing: Removal of your old baths, basins, WCs and shower trays, and installation of your new bathroom furniture; plumbing for electric showers and radiators.

We keep mess to a minimum while we work, and once your bathroom installation is complete we will remove all rubbish from the site. We will leave your home just as it was – except that it now contains the beautiful new bathroom of your dreams!
